Tanya, having squeezed in sitting the last two modules in October, has now finally passed her Certificate in Dance Education with the ISTD for Modern & Tap.
Claire Simpson (or McKenna as some of you may know her) is now a Registered Teacher with the RAD having completed her Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies (mentored by Tanya Schipelbaum).
We are pleased to announce that Paula Conduit of Vortex Dance Theatre will be taking the Contemporary class in 2009. She will also be starting a professional level Ballet Class and additional Advanced Ballet and Advanced Contemporary Classes. These will be great for those people that want to take class beyond Advanced RAD and great to bolster our Performing Arts Course and Teacher Training students levels of technique.

Thank you to our new BAD Company (Performing Arts students) who took part in the Twinning Celebrations in the Malls on Saturday - they were very brave to face the weather dancing outside while our friends from Alencon, France sang and Braine L'Alleud, Belgium played wind instruments. They performed choreography by Sean McLeod (NYIDE), Paula Conduit (Vortex Dance Comapny) and Tanya Schipelbaum (Principal). They gained some new friend during the 4 days of rehearsals and social activities and we have been invited to Braine L'Alleud next September for their Dance Week. Click here for some pictures.
